Mickey Fowler (biography)

Mickey Fowler has been shooting since he was six years old. Although he has endeavored into many varied fields, he has always maintained a passion for guns and has always strived to become better at the art of shooting. As a young man he was a professional Motorcycle Racer and Auto Racer. Mickey formerly owned a successful Manufacturing company in Los Angeles. He became a Professional Marksman in 1979, and is one of the fist people to ever receive a regular paycheck for his skills as a professional marksman. Mickey is proud to be a member of the privileged few who have been able to make a living at shooting. He has worked with many different companies in the shooting industry, and has appeared as the lead instructor in the widely distributed video, "A Woman's Guide to Firearms". He has appeared in other instructional videos and in the past has written magazine articles for American Hand Gunner, and Guns Magazine. He is the co-author of the best selling book, "Handguns and Self Defense".
