This scope features the incredible new Rapid Reticle aiming system. The reticle has clearly numbered elevation cross hairs, dots, and wind lines from point blank to 800 yards or meters depending on where the zero is set. It is calibrated for the most popular factory 308 Winchester (7.62 Nato) match loads. These loads use the 168 grain or 175 grain match bullets at velocities of approximately 2600-2700 feet per second. Superb factory match ammunition, which fits into these specifications, is available from Black Hills Ammunition Company or Federal Cartridge Company. Premium match bullets for hand loaders are available from Sierra Bullet Company and other bullet manufacturing companies.

To use the Rapid Reticle RR800-1 merely range the target then estimate the wind. Select the corresponding clearly marked aiming line, put it on the target and squeeze the trigger. No need to turn the elevation turrets up or down. , turn BC drums , use other calculations, Kentucky Windage, or learn complex formulas. The system is extremely accurate, quick to use and easy to understand.

The Rapid Reticle 800 works best when used with bullets that have ballistic coefficients of; from .450 to .540 at velocities of between 2600 fps to 2700 fps depending on the caliber, B.C, and velocity. Any caliber, cartridge combination which falls into these B.C. and velocity guidelines will work.
